Lehmbruck Desk Floor Sample

A perfect place to think. Especially conceived for the sitter, this desk provides a work surface that is pleasing to the touch. Hand-worked leather, neatly folded at every edge, lines a continuous table top supported by a frame of one-inch metal angles. A crossbar between stretchers threads the desk’s other distinctive feature, an upholstered, bolster-like footrest. Small tabs cap the legs and, like the armature, turn in to visually complete the composition. All the elements of this desk are clearly expressed, a memory of the scrivener’s board and trestle.
