This svelte counter-height chair is based on a design by Selldorf’s mother. Its vibrant line seems lifted from a designer’s sketchbook. Uniformly finished metal rod contours a graciously curved backrest ending in a handle-like top rail. A calligraphic tilde. The seat, also in hand-stitched leather, inclines slightly to cradle the sitter while cross stretchers at the legs add stiffness and provide a well-placed foot rest. The Philipp Tall Chair is designed for counters and tall tables, complimenting a variety of settings.
