A tightly upholstered silhouette relaxes along the sweep of the back, interlocking with low side arms and saddled by loose cushions. The overall impression is that of a distinctive “T”. A slight taper on hardwood legs adds a gracious detail in the front, while they are straight at the rear and punctuate the line. Like the sofa with which it shares a name, the Union Chair invites everything around it to center stage. A fundamental element of Selldorf interiors, it is handmade locally, and to-order.
